Take Home Trays

The first step in the whitening process is impressions. We will take full impressions of your upper and lower teeth. These impressions will be made into custom bleaching trays. The trays will fit onto your teeth perfectly to maximize bleaching results.

The second step is to place the bleaching solution in the trays and wear them for a few hours a day. Within 7-10 days, you will see a significant improvement in the color of your teeth. Your smile will look brighter and younger. We will take before and after photos so that you will be able to compare the amazing transformation.

In-Office Bleaching

In-office bleaching is a great option as an immediate brightener, which would be perfect for a big event coming up soon. At Avia Dental Care, we always make our patients the custom trays to take home and continue bleaching and touch up as a gift when they choose this option.

The first step in this type of bleaching is to plan on being in our office for about one hour. Once the bleach is placed on the teeth, the patient normally relaxes during the appointment, keeping their mouth open while we use curing lights to further activate the bleach.

Bleaching only works on natural teeth and may not be effective in all cases. We will inform you as to the potential whitening for your specific situation.
